My name is John Coburn. I am an artist from Toronto. I’ve had a long relationship with Saint Lucia over the past 40 years . A very good friend of mine Aldrec Mondesir whom I went to art college with in Canada.
I’ve been to St. Lucia six or seven times and I’m going back this April 6 to May 1. I will be staying in the.CHOISEUL area and Painting and drawing while I’m there. If you’re an artist, create a person who might be in the area that might like to meet for a coffee or go drawing or painting with please contact me. I recently posted a couple of St. Lucia paintings. I did in 2017 on my Instagram. @itsjohncoburn I think you’ll be intrigued with this painting I did called
“the red dress” Based on a painting, I did at a Saturday market in Choiseul. I also thought that if a few people would like to do a drawing class, I enjoy teaching people how to draw in five minutes. It would also be wonderful to exhibit my work in St. Lucia so if anybody has any ideas regarding that, I would appreciate hearing from you. I’m very excited to return to your island.
