“He’s in the Room”: A Night of Powerful Praise at Kingdom Night

The air was filled with heartfelt worship and raw emotion as Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival, Kingdom Night, brought a spiritual wave to the Pigeon Island National Landmark.

Headlined by Grammy-winning gospel artist Tasha Cobbs Leonard, the night featured moving performances from Maverick City Music, Chandler Moore, Naomi Raine and many more, both foreign and local.

People of all ages sang every word of the worship songs with passion. Tears flowed freely as hands lifted high in praise.

One of the most emotional moments came during Tasha Cobbs Leonard’s performance of “Gracefully Broken”, which touched the hearts of many and led to powerful, personal moments of surrender and healing.

Maverick City’s performance brought the crowd to their feet, especially during their hit song “Jireh”, which was met with loud cheers and voices singing along in unity. The energy was electric, yet deeply reverent.

Local talent also shone brightly. Artists like Schreffler Maxwell, Anchele Biroo and Vincent Pierre amazed the crowd with their powerful vocals and passionate performances. JCK Worship and Cleopatra Jules added their voices, making it a full celebration of faith and talent.

Among the attendees were government officials including Virginia Albert-Poyotte, Senator Guibion Ferdinand and Father Albert Smith of Babonneau Good Shepherd Catholic Church. They, too, were moved by the spirit of the evening.

Kingdom Night was more than just a concert; it was a reminder of hope, unity and the deep power of worship. As one attendee put it, “You could feel the presence of God. He was definitely in the room.”

  1. Well – if “he was in the room” as per the title of the article – you all Lucians should be much better people for it.
Time will certainly tell —- Amen
