Woman found injured after alleged shooting in Bexon

Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a reported shooting in Bexon on Wednesday night, where a woman was found unresponsive in a vehicle with multiple injuries.

According to the Saint Lucia Fire Service, the trauma call came in around 8:17 p.m. on November 12. Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered a 33-year-old woman in the driver’s seat of a car, suffering from what appeared to be multiple penetrating wounds.

The woman showed “negative vitals” at the time of assessment, officials said. Fire service personnel initiated life-saving measures before transporting her to a medical facility for further care.

Authorities have described the incident as an “alleged gunshot wounding”. No additional details were immediately available regarding the circumstances of the shooting or the woman’s condition.
