Saint Lucia’s Marine Police have been searching unsuccessfully for two missing Vieux Fort fishermen, Pius Mathurin and Deleson Jn Marie.
One of Jn Marie’s relatives disclosed that the 22-year-old left on Saturday on a fishing expedition.
But the relative disclosed that all attempts to contact the young man and Mathurin, the vessel’s captain, have been unsuccessful.
The Marine police have disclosed that due to the length of time the men have been missing and the area the search has so far covered, the Martinique-based Rescue Coordination Centre would now continue the search.
