Two Men Charged With Millennium Highway Homicide

On Wednesday, November 6, 2024 about 6:00 p.m. Police Officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department responded to a report of a stabbing at Millennium Highway, Castries.
This homicide claimed the life of thirty-five (35) year old Danjuma Paul Butcher, a resident of Millennium Highway, Castries.
During the investigation, Dunstan and Don Cherubin were arrested in connection with the death of Danjuma Paul Butcher. As a result of the investigation, the following charges were brought against them:
• Dunstan Cherubin: Charged with Aiding and Abetting under Section 62(b) of the Criminal Code of Saint Lucia, 2024.
• Don Cherubin: Charged with Murder under Section 85B of the Criminal Code of Saint Lucia, 2024.
The duo was escorted to the First District Court, where they applied for bail. After their applications, they were remanded into custody at the Bordelais Correctional Facility.
