    • Lydia stop being an A$$, Chas is long gone. He made that statement over 6 years ago and yes after he made it, gas prices did drop for a while. The world circumstances have changed so drastically since.

  1. Tell me why is the 100lb gas tank more than 5 times the price of the 20lb tank? If my calculation is correct 5 tanks of 20lb would total $211.35 yet the cost is $320.49. Why?

    • Thanks Auguste, I’ve been asking about that for the longest while. When the 20lb goes up by $3.00 and the 25lb $3.25 the 100lb goes up by $30.00. I don’t understand that mathematical logic.

  2. Well we finish. The price on the world market continues to decrease……Ministers have drivers and travel on SLG they are putting themselves first. Dax and other family businesses always have sugar… Travelling officers stick in that…

  3. The last time the 20lb cylinder was being subsidized by $22 now it is being subsidized by less ( $18.83). Government is not allowing all consumers to benefit from the gas reductions. Government is only catering now for the 100lb cylinder holders since they rob them weeks after weeks and the holders call them out for it. Now every adjustments government is removing $20 from the 100lbs. ‘Too many genial around the bargain table’.

    • Longer than whole week. Since June. When prices go up, they quick to pass it on to consumers. When prices go down every excuse not to reduce. Pierre is in bed with those fuel producers. Isn’t one of the prominent gas station owners close to him. Why would they not want to butter up their donors at the expense of the general public. It is about time we go Sri Lanka on their asses.

    • We will pay less for gas when the opposition leader signs the document that is on his desk. Once that document is signed the price of gas will be significantly reduced. We just need to be patient.

      • i cant wait if this is true cause i cant take on those gas prices in my vehicle and i not some body that does go out so far less. I remember when gas was about ten dollars before uwp came into power and kenny wanted people to wait a whole three months to get benefits. you dont see pjp not removing on the fuel for vehicles cause he want to make money on our heads untill

      • @lockbox… just like your locked brain… chas is not your mother man. Your mother man is now the pm so tell him to sign the fricking document and stop being concern but show us how much you care about putting the people first. Tanto tanto
