Police are investigating a report of a shooting on Saturday on New Dock Road, Vieux Fort.
According to the reports, a man sustained two gunshot wounds.
The Vieux Fort fire station said it responded at about 9:39 am after receiving a call for assistance, but on arrival, the victim had already been transported to the hospital.
There are no further details at present.

Vieux Fort badly needs a new and modern Hospital – one like this administration and that clown cabinet are forced to prevent its completion, due to the fact that Chas was the one who started it. That same racist and hateful game that the Speaker is caught in a web that will test his legitimacy in that job; others too if they’re not careful, and being too eager in pushing Chas may learn a hard lesson. TIME TO COMPLETE THAT NEW MODERN HOSPITAL IN VIEUX FORT. The solution to all that shooting everywhere is to find the Lord Jesus Christ in your life. Amen

Both of the political parties have been fooling the people the slp government promise to enact a minimum wage but after a year in power no minimum wage . They want the youtes to work for 12 to 16 hours and pay them 3 dollars EC and hour so the youtes rather do crime instead…
He has failed the people he only represent the interest of true builders choice , sadoo , liqour store , the brewery, barons the reef, coconut bay companies that expliot the vieux fort people with wages as low as 3 dollars an hour
