Jacmel Shooting: ‘My Relative Lost An Eye’

The relative of a man who sustained multiple gunshot injuries in Jacmel Tuesday has disclosed that the victim lost an eye.

” My relative lost an eye after he got shot in the face a little above the eye,” the family member told St Lucia Times.

According to the family member and Jacmel resident who spoke on Wednesday morning, the victim, identified as ‘Coco’, was receiving hospital care.

The family member said the shooting occurred before 8:00 pm as ‘Coco’ sat on his balcony.

“It’s very traumatising. We are in fear in the area – we don’t know what to expect next,” the concerned relative told St Lucia Times.

  1. SLT I understand we must show respect to all that comment and reasonably disagree with those we don’t agree with but when we comment about politics or a politician or police your’ll don’t post it, either that or your’ll take it down which I have seen, doesn’t matter if it was truthful it still gets taken down.

  2. @Wellington never beg, HIGHGRADE WILL NEVER BEG. The information highway belongs to everyone, and there should be no discrimination on it. There will be good drivers and bad drivers on it, and if you don’t want anyone you deem “inappropriate” pulling in for a pit stop into your shack then close shop and stick to the printed PG 13 addition.

  3. Persons Living in the area and His Friends know very well who are the Shooters and Why .If was police they would Publish the police Officer’s name address Rank and force Number

  4. @Stone Cold Steve Austistic smh just recently an officer was arrested for a “contraband” however they didn’t say his name, address, rank or force number so what exactly are you insinuating?

  5. Is the shooter cousin to the victim? I am just asking. Who is responsible to have the shooter to take refuge in one of the hotels in the north?

  6. They know damn well that he was playing stupid games… Play stupid games with things you know nothing about will leave a “Cocoa” with one eye. He was not targeted nor was anyone else. They know that and they have people believe it was a hit. “Bayteez”!
