Over 1,800 people have died and thousands have sustained injuries after a massive earthquake hit Turkey and Syria on Monday.
Media reports indicate that the magnitude 7.8 quake was one of the strongest the region had experienced in over a century.
Hours afterward, the region continued to feel aftershocks.
And authorities in Turkey have appealed for international help amid search and rescue operations.
