Police charged a fifteen-year-old male with murder in the death of 78-year-old Marcellina Alexis last month.
According to reports, the woman was found unresponsive at her home with a stab wound to the neck.
Emergency responders from the Gros Islet fire station went to the woman’s Massade, Gros Islet residence after receiving a distress call but discovered that she exhibited no vital signs.
The fifteen-year-old charged in connection with her death has been remanded in custody.
