A three member delegation from Concacaf wrapped up a successful three day visit to St.
Lucia in relation to the Concacaf Generation Amazing Program scheduled to kick off here in
March 2023.

The team included Ms. Jennifer Roche – CRS Coordinator of Concacaf, Alexia Vickroy,

On Monday 13th February 2023 they met with Messers Lyndon Cooper, Victor Reid, Evastus
Augustin, Ces Podd and Michael Pierre of the SLFA Inc. and Mr. Donald Dave Albert of the
Ministry of Education.

Ms Roche gave a general overview of the Program, while the SLFA Inc. gave an update on where they are with the program. Mr. Albert outlined his Ministry’s involvement and support while welcoming this timely initiative.

Following amicable discussions all teams felt confident that St. Lucia was well on their way in rolling out a successful Concacaf Generation Amazing Program.

On Tuesday 14th February both the Concacaf team and the SLFA Inc. team led by Training
Officer and the Programme Coordinator John Sealy, held a very interactive working session with the coaches assigned to the programme’s 25 Primary Schools.

The team also visited the Grande Riviere Primary School where fruitful discussions were held with the Principal and PE teacher who will be in charge with the responsibility of overseeing the Concacaf Generation Amazing Program there.

The Team was very impressed with their findings and commended the SLFA Inc. for the strides made in implementing the Concacaf Generation Amazing Programme.
