Saint Lucia All Set For Island Cup Premier League Finals

All set for the staging of the SLFA Inc. Island Cup, Premier League Finals scheduled for the
Soufriere Mini Stadium on Sunday 19th February.

The Finals will be played between Gros Islet and La Clery, while the Third Place Play Off will
feature defending champions Canaries against Dennery.

Following the Finals, the Prize Giving Ceremony will ensue. Meanwhile, the prize giving ceremony for the 2nd Division Club Championship will also take place on the Day.

Thus far, the leading goal scorer in the Premier League is Troy Greenidge of Gros Islet with 12, followed by Malik St. Prix and Andrus Remy of La Clery with 6 and 5 goals respectively.

In other related news, the Saint Lucia Football Association Inc. has decided that all matches
scheduled to be played this Saturday 18th February 2023 are postponed.

This decision has been taken as a result of the clash between the Ministry of Youth and Sports National Sports Awards Ceremony which also takes place this Saturday 18th February 2023.

Elsewhere, St. Lucian forward Kegan Caull signed for NK Tolmin to play in the 3rd Division of Slovenia. The 18-years-old scored 4 goals in 9 games for Europa Point FC in the Gibraltar National League this season.
