WATCH: Saint Lucia Confirms 12 Cases Of COVID-19 Sub Variant XBB1.5

Saint Lucia has recorded 12 cases of COVID-19 sub-variant XBB1.5 which has been circulating in China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries.

Confirmation came from the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA).

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sharon Belmar-George disclosed in a statement on Thursday that the confirmed cases here are distributed in most districts.

However, Belmar-George explained that the northern and central regions are the most affected.

  1. Madame CMO, when are you going to disclose the emergence in St. Lucia of the truth variant of Covid-19 which has been circulating here since about 2021? More and more people are seeing through the lies and will not tolerate any infringements of their rights again.
