Four Men In Custody In Martinique After French Navy Seizes 435 Kilos Of Cocaine

The crew of the French Navy vessel Ventôse intercepted a vessel North West of Guadeloupe and seized 19 packages weighing 435 kilos that tested positive for cocaine.

The Ventôse crew arrested four men aboard the vessel and handed them and their illegal cargo to the authorities in the Martinique capital, Fort de France.

The February 10 cocaine seizure was the second drug bust for the French Navy vessel’s crew in less than a month,

For the year so far, they have seized nearly 1.5 tons of narcotics.
