The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Transport wishes to inform the public, especially residents of Ravine Touterelle (Marchand) and environs that work will commence on the demolition and reconstruction of the Ravine Touterelle Bridge on Monday March 6th, 2023.
These works form part of the Government of Saint Lucia’s Community Road Rehabilitation Programme.
As a result, there will be no vehicular access beyond the bridge until further notice.
However, a temporary bypass has been erected to facilitate pedestrian traffic.
The DIPT will advise on the date of completion in a subsequent notice.
The Department of Infrastructure regrets any inconveniences likely to be caused as a result of the upcoming works and will advise on the estimated date of completion in a subsequent notice.
