Castries Senior Football Teams Get New Uniforms

On Friday March 3rd Massy Distribution Limited in collaboration with Duracell, Playtex Sport, Axe, Degree and Breeze presented full kits to the senior male and female teams of the Castries Football Council football teams.

This is a first in local football where a single sponsor has agreed to fully equip the male and female teams for a district with home and away uniforms.

In addition to playing uniforms the kits also include jerseys for the coaching and technical staff of both teams.

In a hand over which took place in the conference room at Massy City Store, Marknyl
Thomas, Marketing Officer (at) Massy Distribution, indicated that the collaborating brands
pounced on the opportunity to work with the CFC on this project given that the benefits of keeping young people engaged in structured and organized sports are numerous.

Massy Distribution is happy to assist in outfitting the teams and hopes that this initiative will signify the beginning of many future partnerships with the CFC.

The Chairman of the Castries Football Council Greg Mathurin expressed gratitude to Massy
Distribution Limited and its principles for the decision to assist the CFC’s senior teams. He was especially thankful for the provision of uniforms for the female team.

The CFC’s female team is a new undertaking with this year marking their second appearance in the Saint Lucia Football Association senior female tournament.

Mathurin indicated that having uniforms made and designed specifically for females would instill a sense of confidence in the ladies while also ensuring
their comfort.

The CFC Chairman made a commitment to the sponsors that the CFC senior teams would represent their brands with pride and with the true spirit of sportsmanship on an off the field of player.
