Vieux Fort Shooting – Man Sustained ‘Penetrating Wounds’ To Hand, Arm

The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) has disclosed that a man sustained ‘penetrating wounds’ to the hand and arm following a shooting incident on Monday in Vieux Fort.

The incident occurred at Morne Cayenne at about 2:52 pm.

SLFS Communications Officer Stacy Joseph said an ambulance transported the injured man to St. Jude Hospital.

However, police disclosed that after being discharged officers arrested him.

He and two other individuals who were allegedly involved in a scuffle when the shooting took place were in police custody assisting with the investigation.
