WATCH: Saint Lucia Gets XCD 18.5 Million From Taiwan For Constituency Development

Saint Lucia’s Constituency Development Programme has received an XCD 18.5 million injection from the Republic of China (Taiwan).
Residents of the island’s 17 constituencies and are poised to benefit from the Taiwanese disbursement which will further empower community based socio-economic initiatives and development projects.

  1. Another handout, an economy built on handouts. Shameless politicians always smiling at the cameras, teeth white from the Peoples’ misfortune, in gratitude for the craps they have received. Mindless, conscienceless, politicians, void of dignity, each taking turn at the trough every four or five years.

  2. That’s a little less than 1.1 million for each constituency. It would be nice to see some accountability and transparency. But sadly, that does not exist, you will see some work, but That’s it. Say hacks la, it happening on both sides.

  3. Why don’t report on the expenditure also be made public with a pose and smile from the Politicians?

  4. Thank you Taiwan, please someone who is over seeing govt transactions too audit tabs on the entire and full use of these monies for this phenomenally generous gift from Taiwan.

  5. That money will go in the bank accounts of ministers of government . The people will remain poor …
