St. Lucia is all set to participate in the Concacaf Under 20 Girls qualifiers scheduled for Nicaragua from the 15th – 24th April 2023.
St. Lucia is placed in Group F together with Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Nicaragua.
Following round robin play, the six group winners will advance to the 2023 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship, joining the region’s top two ranked nations, United States and Mexico.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday 12th April Blanchard United and Lionheart played their second game of the knockout qualifier. with the scores tied at 2-2 after the first game both teams came out in search of a go ahead goal.
Both teams squandered numerous opportunities but it was Blanchard United that opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 14th minute from the boots of Ryan Langelier.
No further goals were scored as the half ended 1 – 0.
At the resumption Blanchard continued their scoring with goals from Winston Bellase in 58th, Forbes Duplesis in the 68th and Shavonne Williams in the 78th.
Blanchard United moves on in the competition with a 4 – 0 victory over Lionheart.
