Micoud Woman Injured During Home Invasion

An Anse Ger, Micoud, woman sustained multiple injuries during a home invasion in the wee hours of Sunday morning.

But the injuries were not life-threatening.

According to reports, a masked man armed with a machete entered the woman’s home at about 3:30 am and attacked her, fleeing when the woman called out to others in the house for help.

The victim, who is in her thirties, sustained lacerations to her hands and has received medical attention.

There are no further details at present.

  2. This is a very common occurrence in our country these days. If it is not a home invasion, someone or a couple is ambushed while walking or leaving a party. Gone are the days when one could have gone out to enjoy themselves and return to their homes safely. Some idiot or a gang of idiots are always on hand to rob them of their valuables. It’s time that something be done to these fools. Let Mary cry foul afterwards.
