The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) convened a mass crowd management training exercise for volunteers last week.
The volunteers are attached to Saint Lucia’s seventeen District Disaster Committees.
NEMO is mandated to ensure approved mass crowd events meet regulatory stipulations and are also adequately staffed with volunteers trained in mass crowd management.
