Final Three Preliminary Matches Played In SLFA President’s Cup

The final three preliminary round matches were played in the SLFA’s Inc President’s Cup on
Tuesday 9th May 2023.

Over at the Dennery Playing Field, Nyabinghi with a Troy Fanis’ goal in the 9th min edged out Aux Lyon United 1 – 0 to advance to the semi finals, topping Group A.

In the other game played, Big Players were runaway winners over Agardianz with a
convincing 8 – 0 victory. They got their goals from Lincoln Phillip a hat trick in the 24 th , 74th 75th min, Christopher St. Clair a brace in the 16th and 48th min and the others from Darran Joseph 36th, Valdez Maximin 38th and Levi Mederick 77th min.

They too advance to the semi finals Down at the Desruisseaux Playing Field, in the
lone encounter DCYO registered an emphatic 5 –1 victory over Desruisseaux United to advance to the semi finals.

They got their goals from Denilson Jones with a hat trick in the 11th , 38th min and 5th min of added on time, Shaquille William 89th min. and Elijah Joseph in the 7th min of added on time.

Eldrick Popo scored for Desruisseaux United in the 23rd min.

Meanwhile, Faith United won by default over Uprising to top Group B and advance to the semifinal.
