A Babonneau resident has disclosed that the teenage victim of Sunday’s fatal shooting had survived two previous gun attacks.
Police have identified the deceased as nineteen-year-old Chris Volney.
A police release said Volney was known to the police.
According to the release, the Babonneau police station received a shooting report at about 6:15 pm on Sunday and found two victims at the scene in Garrand, Babonneau.
A medical practitioner pronounced Volney, who had been shot multiple times, dead.
And an ambulance transported an injured young female to a medical facility.
Babonneau resident Nathan described the teenage deceased as a ‘cool guy’ who worked as a mechanic.
Nathan told reporters he was unaware that Volney was in trouble with anyone.
But Nathan said he understood that Volney had survived two previous shootings.
“The third time, they put him down for life,” he declared.
“The police have to take better action because we have to stop the violence. That ain’t taking us nowhere to see young lives just going,” Nathan observed.
He said it was a very sad situation.
The police, meanwhile, have urged anyone with information regarding the shooting to contact the nearest police station, the Babonneau Police Station at 456-4120, 456-4121, or the Crime Hotline at 555 for anonymous reporting.

This doesn’t add up with what the family is saying. Survived two previous shootings and they have no idea. I bet right now they will retaliate and know who to do it too.
Third time’s the charm they say. Such a waste of human life.
