WATCH: Heat Wave Advisory Issued For Saint Lucia

The Ministry of Health has issued a heat wave advisory for Saint Lucia, urging citizens to adopt certain measures to safeguard themselves.

In a statement Tuesday, Health Educator in the Bureau of Health Janelle Alexander-Dupre called attention to a recent Saint Lucia Meteorological Services warning about potential record high temperatures.

And she said the Ministry of Health cautions everyone to remain hydrated.

In addition, Alexander-Dupre outlined steps people could take to safeguard themselves from the harmful effects of heat waves.
