Dennery Man Charged With Bonita James Stabbing Death

Police say on Monday, June 12, 2023, they charged La Pointe, Dennery, resident Leonus Pelage, with causing the death of Bonita James.

The 33-year-old woman sustained stab wounds to her body on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at about 3:40 am at La Pointe Dennery.

An ambulance transported her to St. Jude Hospital, where a medical practitioner pronounced her dead.

Police escorted the accused, Leonus Pelage, to the Second District Court for a bail hearing, and he was remanded to the Bordelais Correctional Facility until later.

  1. I Hope when this Reach the High Court the Jury finds him Guilty and Sentence him to be Hanged .He will never Touch a woman again .By now he must have a boy friend

  2. st.Lucian males need lots of counciling , the women need to come together more often to combat women being abused and battered in St.Lucia . this need to stop.
