Police say on Monday, June 12, 2023, they charged La Pointe, Dennery, resident Leonus Pelage, with causing the death of Bonita James.
The 33-year-old woman sustained stab wounds to her body on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at about 3:40 am at La Pointe Dennery.
An ambulance transported her to St. Jude Hospital, where a medical practitioner pronounced her dead.
Police escorted the accused, Leonus Pelage, to the Second District Court for a bail hearing, and he was remanded to the Bordelais Correctional Facility until later.

I Hope when this Reach the High Court the Jury finds him Guilty and Sentence him to be Hanged .He will never Touch a woman again .By now he must have a boy friend
