On the advice of emergency personnel, as of 11:45 am on Friday, June 23, 2023, Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre gave the all-clear for Saint Lucia after the passage of Tropical Storm Bret.

“The ALL CLEAR has been given for Saint Lucia to open,” Pierre announced on Facebook.

It means that businesses could open, and airports would begin operating again.

But schools remain closed.
