Canaries Man Hospitalised After Snake Bite

Emergency personnel from the Soufriere fire station rushed a Canaries man to the hospital after receiving a report that a fer-de- lance bit him.

The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon at Belvedere, Canaries.

The Soufriere fire station received a call for help at about 3:05 pm regarding the 63-year-old man whom the snake had bitten on the left calf.

Community residents toldĀ St. Lucia TimesĀ the snake-bite victim is a farmer.

  1. We have 17 snakes in our parliament and and all over the country these venomous creatures is causing havoc. Get well soon bro.
