Immigration Department Announces Extended Hours

The Immigration Department of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has announced extended hours.

The department said it would issue printed passports on Sunday, July 2, 2023, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

However, a department notice advised persons to call 4563827 during that time for a status update before visiting.

  1. Can’t get it right agency! Only reactive interventions! Hit and miss solutions! No foresight, no vision, no leadership at the top nor at ministerial level! Worthless people in decision making roles! + more

  2. People this is not the answer. The passport office though not always being the most efficient worked before within 5 days. What does opening on a Sunday solve. Is there a PS in this Ministry. Solve the problem don’t add a plaster to the Bobo.

They first need to do a review of the Department. If sending the Head on leave is necessary to facilitate it, then do so. An in depth review is necessary.

  3. I strongly recommend the resignation of Virginia Albert. We need some leadership in that department. Obviously the problem is leadership

  4. St Lucians complain for everything. Nothing satisfies them. Just a bunch of Enemy of Progress.
    Misery likes company.
Good many of you’ll can’t live in foreign.

That’s the level of IQ in my country

  5. Hope your extended hours remove that 5 year passport burden with people moving around with endless little passports with visas in each one. Stupid. Stupid. Remove this 5 year passport. Among the few backward countries to do this is st Lucia. Where u all hear that nonsense? Imagine my 10 year visa outlast your stupid passport!

  6. Stop your workers for getting paid under the table doing favors. While others wait in line for hours upon hours!

  7. There lies the problem when you have old, closed minded, incompetent fools in charge of departments that need fresh innovative minds to come up with actual solutions to problems. Retire the aging regime… they need to go rest their bones because their solutions are ancient.

  8. They telling people to call before they come to get a status update but what they wont tell you is you will call your belly full and they will never ever pick up the phones to answer in these government offices. This place worst than land registry. If they were responding to the phones a lot of people would not come to the office in person when they didn’t need to.

  9. Saint Lucia’s Immigration Department: Public Service Agency of the Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! daybahn worthless from line staff to heads to Minster!
