Police are investigating a report of a shooting at Monchy, Gros Islet, on Tuesday, the circumstances of which were not immediately apparent.
A video on social media showed a man in a blood-stained shirt sitting in a car and an ambulance nearby. Initial reports indicated that the victim is a Customs Officer.
A small crowd of onlookers had gathered at the scene.
The Gros Islet fire station responded after receiving an emergency call at about 4:50 pm and transported the injured man to the hospital.
At the time the victim was reported in stable condition.

Law enforcement officers being targeted for doing their jobs. Imagine if the criminals are brazen enough to go after officers protected by the law for their misdeeds, imagine what they would do to average people like you or I.
