Police Identify Victim Of Fatal Ciceron Shooting

The Criminal Investigations Department in Castries is investigating a homicide that occurred at Monkey Town, Ciceron on Tuesday August 22, 2023 about 6:30pm.

The Officers responded to the shooting incident and conducted preliminary investigations. One male individual was discovered lying on the main road with multiple gunshot wounds about his body.

Also present on the scene were personnel from the Saint Lucia Fire Service who attended to, but were unable to resuscitate the victim, who was later pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor.

The victim has been officially identified as twenty (20) year old Dennery resident, Darnel Dolor alias “Sick Man” or “5 bag”.  At the time of his death, Darnel Dolor was a person of interest in a homicide investigation.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding this incident are ongoing and no arrests have been made thus far.

The organization is also appealing to anyone who may have witnessed or may have any information that can assist with the investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 4563817 and 4563770 or the Crime Hotline at 555.
