Homicide Victim’s Girlfriend Recalls Hearing Gunshots

The girlfriend of Saint Lucia’s latest homicide victim recalls hearing gunshots on Tuesday, and later discovering that the man she had been with for three years was dead.

“I heard gunshots. I didn’t think it was him,” the girlfriend told reporters.

“He was the only person there for me,” she explained. “They shoot him in his head.”

Police identified the fatal shooting victim as 20-year-old Dennery resident Darnel Dolor, alias “Sick Man” or “5 Bag”.

According to a police release, Dolor was a person of interest in a homicide investigation at the time of his death.

He succumbed after sustaining gunshot injuries to the head at Monkey Town, Ciceron.

Dolor’s girlfriend disclosed that although originally from Dennery, he had lived in Ciceron for the past month.

Police have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed or may have any information to assist with the investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 4563817 and 4563770 or the Crime Hotline at 555.

According to law enforcement officials, Saint Lucia has so far recorded 56 homicides.

  1. Sick man is now dead man. 5 bag is now 6 foot under. You young people need to take heed and never get involved in this gangsta/block/thug life style. Nothing good ever comes of it and you can never escape it. Those who already in it or trying to get out better pray the people you wronged can let it go.
