WATCH: SLFS Reaffirms Its Commitment To Safe Service After Ambulance Crash

The Management and Staff of the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) have reaffirmed the commitment of officers to professionally serving nationals in the provision of emergency care services.

Assurances have been issued by Acting Chief Fire Officer Mr. Ditney Downes, who issued an official statement on the incident occurring in the community of Dennery resulting in injury to responding officers, and individuals being transported aboard an ambulance.

A 79-year-old patient who was aboard the ambulance was pronounced dead.

  1. WE ALL KNOW NOTHING GOING TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS ACCIDENT, UNDER THE RUG. HOPE THE GOVERNMENT COMPENSATE THE FAMILY AT LEAST. GOD BLESS THE FAMILY.
