The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs, wishes to the inform the general public particularly the residents of Vieux Fort its environs, that the Vieux -Fort Wellness Centre will be temporarily closed from Friday, 06 October, 2023, to Tuesday, 10 October, 2023.
This closure is necessary to facilitate repair works on the central air-conditioning unit.
As a result, ALL health services at the Vieux- Fort Wellness Centre have been redirected to the Laborie Wellness Centre. Persons may also visit other Community Wellness Centres closest to them during this time. Clinics will be redirected as follows:
- Doctors clinic scheduled for Friday, 06 October and Monday, 09 October 2023, will be redirected to the Laborie Wellness Centre.
- The Laborie Wellness Centre will be opened on Saturday, 07 October 2023, for Walk- ins and wound care.
- Antenatal Clinic will be held on Tuesday, 10 October, at the Laborie Wellness Centre.
- Pediatric Clinic and Child Health Clinic will be held on Tuesday, 10 October 2023, at the Laborie Wellness centre.
Please note that persons with appointments will be contacted should there be any change in their appointment dates.
