Opposition leader Allen Chastanet wrote on Facebook that he was ‘deeply saddened’ hearing of the ‘tragic loss’ of music producer Dayne Felix.
Felix succumbed to gunshot injuries on Monday.
Preliminary police investigations indicated that a lone gunman shot the 25-year-old at Barre St. Joseph, Castries, where he lived.
“His talent as a music producer was undeniable. My thoughts are with his family during this obviously difficult time,” Chastanet stated regarding the deceased.
“Let’s remember him for his incredible skill and use this tragedy as a reminder that we must do more to stop gun violence,” the United Workers Party (UWP) leader stated.
