Police Probe ‘Serious Chopping’ At Sarrot

Police have launched an investigation into a ‘serious chopping’ incident at Sarrot, Bexon, Castries, Saturday afternoon.

As a result of the incident, a man sustained multiple body lacerations and lost a lot of blood.

The circumstances surrounding the chopping were not immediately apparent.

However, emergency responders from the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call at about 2:08 p.m.

The responders transported the patient to the OKEU Hospital.

There are no further details at present.

  1. No media house or online news agency saw the need to report on the Piaye murder. Neither have the police released a statement. This is St Lucia where everything can happen with no investigation or consequences, and I am not referring to only this situation, but the NORM since 1997.
