Bank Of Saint Lucia Clarifies Misinformation Regarding ‘Finance Manager’s’ Arrest

Bank of Saint Lucia is issuing this press statement to address and correct inaccurate information circulating on social media platforms regarding the alleged arrest of a “Finance Manager”.

Contrary to recent claims, there is no truth to the assertion that any Manager has been arrested.

The image being circulated featuring Bank of Saint Lucia staff standing outside the Financial Centre on Bridge Street is a result of a routine fire drill conducted on Wednesday, November 15th, 2023.

The bank places the utmost importance on the safety and well-being of its employees and regularly conducts such drills to ensure preparedness and compliance with safety protocols.

We would like to emphasize that this misinformation circulating is baseless and has no merit.

Bank of Saint Lucia urges the public to rely on official statements from the Bank for accurate information.

We are committed to transparency and open communication with our valued clients and the communities in which we serve.
