The victim of a stabbing in Vieux Fort was in stable condition after the incident on New Dock Road on Friday.
According to emergency responders, the male victim sustained wounds to the stomach and hand.
A crew from the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) Crash Fire Hall in Vieux Fort rushed to the scene after learning of the stabbing at about 2:07 pm and transported the victim to a medical facility.
Videos on social media showed an altercation that preceded the stabbing.
The police were looking for a known individual said to have been the assailant.

I saw the video circulating with all sorts of comments attached. It is sad that a number of people are seeing such violence as funny. We need to do better as citizens of society.
From what was shown on the video they need to arrest two persons the one that supplied the knife and the one that did the stabbing
