Castries South East MP Urges Self-Restraint During Festive Season

Castries South East MP Joachim Henry has urged self-restraint amid the festive season celebration.

“Be temperate in your celebration. Don’t overdo it,” Henry told his constituents in a Christmas message.

He noted that January was approaching when individuals need to return to school.

Henry observed that children also need food and transportation to school.

In addition, the Minister of Equity, Social Justice, and Empowerment called on his constituents to remember the less fortunate, the disabled, senior citizens, and people who have lost a loved one.

  1. Church is a celebration of Christ and we aught to practice self restraint not only within the walls of the Church but at all times in and outside of it; to say ” be temperate in our celebration,” be it inside or outside the Church is a misnomer.
We all must practice what we preach – politicians of all stripe talk big lies.
