Saint Lucia police are investigating a fatal chopping at New Development in Soufriere.
Dead as a result of the incident is a fifty-four-year-old auto mechanic identified as Ferad Vitalis.
Initial reports indicated that the chopping occurred during a family dispute on Tuesday morning.
One male suspect was in police custody.
So far, in 2024, Saint Lucia has recorded twenty-one homicides.
