Several years ago, I had the pleasure of teaching an art class at the Special Education Centre, in Vieux Fort. Ricky was one of my students. He was one of the sweetest boys I’ve ever known. I still have a picture that he drew for me so long ago. I am truly saddened by his death, and by the deaths of so many other innocent victims of the senseless violence that has taken over the town of View Fort, May Ricky Rest In Peace. May his family find comfort. And may Vieux Fort be restored to the lovely, peaceful community of my memories.
These Shanty Town Bruce Ville .police have to lock down the place no one goes in nor out and Search all Houses in that location .Because St.Lucia is a Little Haiti now.Government have to Revisit the Firearms act and also legislation for the banning of all Gangs in St.Lucia.
@ Just Saying, sometimes we too quick to look on the negative side of things. Go Fast was his aka not because of crime but because of his personality or character. He carried out errands for people and he would say he would go fast to come back fast. He had no time to waste because he may have missed an opportunity to carry out another errand. Rest in peace young man, victim of the senseless killings occurring in our once beautiful and peaceful town.
