Motorcyclist Injured In Roseau Collision

A motorcyclist sustained multiple injuries after colliding with a vehicle in Roseau, Quarter of Anse La Raye, Thursday.

Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) spokeswoman Stacy Joseph disclosed that emergency personnel responded at about 5:55 pm and found a man in his mid-forties lying on the roadside.

Joseph said the man, identified as the rider of the motorcycle that collided with the vehicle, had ‘severe trauma’ to his arms and legs.

She stated that the SLFS responders provided emergency medical care, immobilised the patient on a spine board, and transported him to a medical facility.

“The driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision declined medical attention and later signed a release form,” Joseph said.
