Soufriere, Choiseul Police Stations Hold Annual Staff Awards

Recently, the Soufriere and Choiseul Police Stations held their annual Staff Awards and Gala Dinner at the Felicity Rooftop Restaurant in Soufriere.
The ceremony aimed to highlight the exceptional performances of the officers during the period from January to December 2023. The dedication and efforts of these brave men and women were recognised with certificates of appreciation and awards.
The event was attended by the Divisional Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police Albert Charlery, and several key stakeholders from the districts of Soufriere and Choiseul.
The categories and recipients for this year’s award ceremony, for personnel attached to the Soufriere Police Station, are as follows:

Special commendations were awarded to the following Justices of the Peace for their ongoing dedication and support to law enforcement:
• Marcus Joseph
• Vernon Montoute
• Alphonsus Stanislaus
• Patricia Palton
• Eve Aimable
Inspector Kimroy Rene praised all the officers who have dedicated their lives to serving the people of Soufriere and Choiseul, and by extension, Saint Lucia.
He expressed gratitude to his subordinates for their contributions towards the organisation’s successes. He also emphasised the importance of continuing to build camaraderie through initiatives such as the awards and gala.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Albert Charlery congratulated the officers and encouraged each one to continue providing a professional policing service to the residents and visitors of Soufriere and Choiseul. In his words:
