RSLPF Requests Information On Fatal Shooting Of Blanchard Teen

On Wednesday, July 31, at about 11:00pm p.m., the Micoud Police Station received and responded to a report of a fatal shooting at Blanchard, Desruisseaux.

The victim identified as thirteen-year-old (13) Melchizedek Gilbert Tixcy of Blanchard Desruisseaux, was conveyed to the St. Jude Hospital having sustained an apparent gunshot injury to the head.

Whilst in care, he succumbed to his injury, and his death was subsequently confirmed by a medical practitioner.

The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) is urging persons with information regarding this homicide to contact the Micoud Police Station at 456-3670. Additionally, the Crime Hotline (555) and the RSLPF Crime Hotline App are available for anonymous reporting.
