Police are investigating a suspected drowning of a Babonneau man that occurred near the beach at Sunny Acres on Wednesday.
At about 8:00 pm, the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in Castries received the suspected drowning report.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) emergency personnel had transported a male individual, twenty-seven-year-old Andre Alton Rudolphe of Plateau, Babonneau, to the OKEU Hospital.
He was later pronounced dead.

So Sad. So two deaths in a day . I was just saying why cant we have a week free of all these bad news. Not a day there some loss of life or people hospitalized. If its not a shooting its a fatal accident, or suicide or drowning, or stabbing or someone burned in house fire. Is the Island paying for something. I just cant understand . We in celebration mode for Our Olympic gold and silver and bad news keeps poping up everyday here.It sad
No one can prevent death, once to die and after the judgement, so death is a must.

sorry for rhe lost I sympathize with rhe family . im not sure what transpired however as a professional diver no one living in st lucia at that age should die by drowning under normal circumstances. so sorry to say
