Homicide Victim’s Relative Says Killers Claimed To Be Police

A close relative of Saint Lucia’s latest homicide victim has told reporters that in the wee hours of Monday morning, bandits claiming to be police officers gunned down Keston Dilaire.

“I just hear bam, bam, bam on the door ‘Police. Everybody flat down,'” the relative stated.

She said the individuals who came to the home at Fond Assau, Babonneau, wore camouflage clothing and shot Delaire multiple times.

According to reports, they discharged rounds into the air as they left the scene of their crime.

The deceased, who had survived two previous shootings, died at the scene.

The relative, describing Delaire as very helpful, had a message for the killers.

“I leave a coffin for them – Rambally, Crick, Lazarus,” she told reporters.

So far for the year, Saint Lucia has recorded fifty-six homicides, the majority involving the use of guns.

  1. Camouflage huh….I remember a time when wearing camo was illegal for civilians but it seems that has changed as all tom dick and harry wearing it. I even saw a customs officer wearing a camo short pants. An example of allowing the small infractions turning into bigger problems….I bet there will be a drive to make it illegal again. Reactive and worthless!

  2. Im sure this Island is either cursed or paying for something bad. Next it will be vehicle accidents claiming a life, or a stabbing or chopping, or a drowning or suicide, a house fire, or robberies. Lord have Mercy upon this Land

  3. 6. For some it’s the PM fault (of course the fool knows themselves), after the second attempted homicide the PM displayed his lack of “managerial skills” in his duty as minister of national security……..imagine not having the Gaul not to assigned an officer to man his doorsteps and to manage every move he made oh my the wickedness of it all by that little black bway .

  7. Helen of the wild west you are wrong it is 58 homicides so far. And just so you know there are 17 people shot or chopped that didn’t die. It should be more if you add vehicular manslaughter . But for some reason in Saint Lucia it doesn’t add to what is actually the real number of deaths ask the officials for the amount of deaths or homicide if we add vehicular manslaughter or hit and run to it the amount is much higher

  8. To be very clear on this guy situation it’s funny how he’s mix up in all what took place he was with the bus driver when the bus driver lost his life I never heard or seen him give a little comfort on the news knowing his friend pass away. Just saying it as it is not your family came on the news and again you got shot at your work place those guys was determining to exit your life . Something went wrong somewhere

  9. Just the effects of how serious the coke in transit game is in the region. All for first world countries to get a high aka pleasure. We just caught up in the web of the drug trade route. Little boys not knowing how to handle big and dangerous games. Just consequences and karma. Instead them yutes educate themselves first on life and maybe will never take the game or know how it is played at least. Sad thing guns and drugs benefit placces like America yet still they give limited resources. USA will never take it serious because they are making too much money on our head. If they had Venezuela they have the trade and control. Hmm

  10. No one goes to kill someone for no reason.. he know why the guys came for him. This is all Pierre’s fault.. Slp are just a bunch of crooks looking to fill their pockets.. stay stupid Saint Lucia and keep voting them in power.

  11. I am not certain if folk understand – you can bring a horse to the water, you can not make it drink. The folk who are engaged and involved in crime have to want to change – no one can change you but you and that’s the reality.

  12. ” am not certain if folk understand – you can bring a horse to the water, you can not make it drink.”

This. People have to want to change. Unfortunately, the minds of the criminals are beyond gone.
