Police launched an investigation after two men sustained gunshot injuries at Bisee, Castries, on Thursday.

Both individuals were in stable condition.

According to reports, at about 7:50 pm, masked shooters exited a vehicle and opened fire at the two men who were in a shop.

One of the men sustained injury from one gunshot while the other was shot multiple times.

Figures released this week indicate that the police seized seventy-two illegal firearms and 1318 rounds of ammunition this year.

  1. Why is there so much shooting on a small Island like St. Lucia what went wrong, is it a lack of Godliness? can or will anyone answer this, is it too difficult to figure out? yes I think anyone and I will answer this. Its the Cult of the Anti-Christ; little St. Lucia is paying the same price as where the Wars are raging, big Bombs may not be dropping on our heads, but the guns belonging to local thugs with hate and envy in their hearts will accomplish the same effect. Its also a cult of easy money, ‘I want & I’ll take whatever you have, even If I kill you for it’ something people like myself never knew growing up in St. Lucia. So is it right to say, that the CHURCHES have failed in their efforts to teach?
