Philip Pierre’s INCLUSIVENESS has severe limitations.
What this parochial, thin skinned little man means by that term is: Protecting the SLP victory, me myself and I, plus friends family, and foreigners who give SLP insiders a helping hand.
For 5 years in Opposition even through the most dangerous pandemic in 100 years , then for 3 1/2 years in government he has divided, split, separated the people of St Lucia in his spiteful agenda to revenge political defeat and maintain power.
This even inspire of his blatant ineptitude and incompetence.
No number of turgid Press Releases by a public relations team trying to stem the SLPs hemorrhaging of support will make an ounce of difference.
The reality is the SLP cabinet of misfits do not have the skill sets, moral backbone or agenda require to run Fair Helen. Spending all their time looking after themselves, flying here there and everywhere to meet their backers leaves them no time or energy to run St Lucia.
All of a sudden Pierre wants no anger and INCLUSIVENESS- after practicing hatred and division for the past three decades.
Sorry – we have been fooled enough!
Of all the sciences known to man, politics is perhaps the most deceptive of all the sciences as it requires, no great skill or knowledge to be a politician. Yet to be a Mathematician or a Physicist requires some skilland deep dive knowledge of the intricacies of maths and physics. But politics? Any wayward rogue can put on a suit and spew some convincing words to ring the ears of the electorate and by such conniving, become the leader of a nation. Yes, indeed we have all seen and heard Pierre both in opposition and in position of power. I would hazard a guess and say politics in itself is not an exact science, in that you inevitably please some and equally displease others. While maths and physics done well gives exact results. But politics? Of course Pierre would want to show that he is governing for all Saint Lucians and being inclusive and yet we all know, by the nature of politics itself that a politician will inevitably please some and displease others. Perhaps the great balance is walking the centre line of politics where even statistics will show, that the median line is where consensus is greatest. I wish Pierre well and it is my wish that any government show and actually take actions that put the people first. Not just in words but in action. Develop the country, preserve the natural resources, cherish and preserve the culture, promote unity, encourage a diversity of thought, personal freedom, law and justice and democracy. But isn’t it funny that any rogue can become a politician who can affect the most sacred of our cherished belongings ( culture, freedom, democracy etc etc) yet it takes expert learning to become a mathematician or a Physicist?….🤔
