Two Men Charged with Murder of Stephan Eudovique

Two men have been charged in connection with the murder of 27-year-old Stephan Eudovique, who was shot during a robbery in New Development, Belair, on December 10 last year, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) disclosed on Wednesday.

Following weeks of investigation—and with the assistance of the public—police arrested 24-year-old Thankson Alfred, also known as “Pason”, and 27-year-old Karan Emmason Emmanuel, also known as “Baige”, both of New Development, Belair, during an operation last Wednesday.

They were remanded in custody after appearing before the First District Court for a bail hearing.

Eudovique, also known as “Tall Boy”, sustained a gunshot wound to his right thigh, which proved fatal. A post-mortem conducted on December 12 confirmed the cause of death.

The subsequent investigation led to a coordinated operation involving the Major Crimes Unit, the Special Services Unit, and the Special Operations Team, which resulted in the arrest of Alfred and Emmanuel.

The RSLPF commended investigators for their diligence in solving the case and thanked members of the public who assisted in the process.

“While you may not be named individually, your efforts are acknowledged and sincerely appreciated,” the RSLPF statement said. “The fight against crime is a shared responsibility—we are all stakeholders. Therefore, you, the people we serve, are our partners. You are urged to continue supporting the efforts of the RSLPF as we endeavour to make Saint Lucia a safe place for all.

“In conclusion, you’re left with this simple advice: If you spot it, report it.”

  1. There is no need, or rather, is there any need to thank the public for assistance! Appreciation can be shown when the information is being received, it may be counter productive (although I hope not), to talk of assistance provided by the general public, I’m thinking in terms of the safety of those who assist the police.

  2. Very good job by the Law enforcers of Saint Lucia,of solving crimes..It’s about time that we keep St.lucia as clean with Commonsense..ONE Clean Saint Lucia for all of us….Great island, and let’s use and share better Driving skills and Commonsense…180.000 population and there asmany VECHIELS DRIVING THROUGH ROUND ABOUTS AND THINKING IT’S A Highway should think smarter…
Thank you for sharing about the good job of the Law enforcers, and also for reporting such a great Story..

  3. It is good to hear that murders are not only being solved but being solved in such short order. This is different from what we are used to.
I anticipate that the public will continue to cooperate with the police, as crime is everybody’s business.
Hats off to the RSLPF for their diligence and hard work. Keep it up.

  4. Well done officers. Seeing an increase charges of murder cases letely, long may this continue.

Your communication via press releases has also improved the tone has changed.

The public plays a pivotal role in assisting the RSLPF, if you treat them with respect and diginity even those caught breaking law, you will reep the dividends.

  5. Let us be honest – there are those among you guys in St. Lucia whose mission it is to steal, kill and destroy. The government knows who they are – deal with them and their accomplices accordingly.
