Police Investigate Stabbing Aboard Boat In Vigie

Police are investigating an early Sunday morning stabbing aboard a catamaran at Vigie, Castries.

Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) emergency personnel received a call for assistance at 12:55 and, on arrival, found that a 33-year-old man had sustained multiple stab wounds to the groin, left thigh, and right leg.

The responders treated the patient, who had bled profusely as a result of the stabbing, and transported him to the OKEU Hospital for further medical attention.

According to reports, the man was the victim of an assault with a sharp object during a verbal altercation that occurred on a boat ride.

  1. It’s very disturbing that we commonly used violence to resolved our misunderstanding.
    We need prayer’s as a people,we need to show, empathy, love towards our fellow brothers and sisters.
    Are we not able to enjoy ourselves with each other without a fight.
    Any individual who armed himself / herself, with weaponry when leaving home, you have to be weary of this individual, they’re out to create mayhem and unless they’ve not accomplished their mission they’ll not be satisfied.
    People we need prayer’s.

  2. When our leaders promoting violence, what do we expect? They are always fache, ready to raise war. The end result is our young people will turn to violence.
