The Anse La Raye R.C. Infant and Primary School has repeated as the champion of the District Four Interschools Track Meet.
The event, held at Mindoo Philip Park in Castries, was packed with primary school athletes and supporters eager to make their mark in the history of the annual competition.
A total of nine schools participated in the event, including Bexon R.C. Infant & Primary, Roseau R.C. Combined, Odsan Combined, La Croix Maingot Combined, Millet Primary, Ciceron R.C. Combined, and Anse La Raye R.C. Infant & Primary.
The Lady Gordon Opportunity Centre also participated as a special invitational school. Anse La Raye claimed the top spot with 346 points, while Millet Primary and Bexon R.C. Infant & Primary finished in second and third place with 331 and 266 points, respectively.
Following the meet, several athletes emerged as Victors and Victrix Ludorum of their respective age groups. Here are some of the outstanding performers:
Under 9 Boys: Jeremiah Charles: 2 Gold medals
Under 9 Girls: Nayomie St. Luce: 1 Gold medal, 1 Silver medal
Under 11 Boys: Jaylen Joseph: 2 Gold medals; Shawnell Altenor: 2 Gold medals
Under 11 Girls: Kamarah James: 2 Gold medals
Boys Under 13: Kazak Miniville: 2 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals
Girls Under 13: Kyama Avril: 1 Gold medal, 1 Silver medal
Girls 13+: Derressya Giddings: 3 Gold medals
Boys 13+: Fidel Nan: 2 Gold medals
